SMALL STEPS

The founding fathers of Yayasan Tun Abdul Hamid were always mindful of the duty incumbent on all mankind to help their fellow human beings. Indeed, one of the objects for which the Yayasan was established is to relieve human suffering and improve the standard of human life.

Underprivileged children receiving blankets & soft animals as gifts from Friends Of The Yayasan (FOTY) – a tiny act of kindness but which makes a difference towards ensuring a comfortable night’s sleep

“This requires vast resources and immense effort,” lamented a Director.

“But if each person in the world who can, does their small part, a tiny mound may over time, grow into a mountain,” suggested another Director.

And so ‘Small Steps’ was initiated: a gentle helping hand for those in need.

Here are just a few of the steps by the Yayasan & Friends Of The Yayasan (FOTY) towards fulfilling its objective of relieving human suffering and improving the standard of human life.
